Not only did the Austin American-Statesman endorse Kay Bailey Hutchison for governor today, but her campaign released what could arguably be its most visible ad of the campaign season ... and the last one of the football season.
It featured a fictional "behind the scenes" look at the "Perry HQ attack ad" department -- showing the fake staffers shredding documents such as a map of the Trans-Texas Corridor.
So far, Democrat Farouk Shami and Republican Hutchison were the only ones airing ads during the Super Bowl in the Austin viewing area. Shami's ad was his standard television commerical.
Meanwhile, Gov. Rick Perry hosted former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin at his campaign's Super Sunday event in Houston -- a video archive of which may be found here.
